He's Blooming

from $325.00

Picture Taken: Portland, OR

We were made to flourish and bloom into our truest self. This is a photo from my series called flower people. I tend to play and create to work out my thoughts and feelings. Art has always been a true form of sharing my voice with the world. This is a humorous and creative outlook on the process we go through in life to get to the spot where we are in full bloom. Everyone's bloom looks so different. I wanted to explore what that bloom looked like. I hope this photo inspires that rise and bloom of self, whatever that looks like for you.

My fine art prints are printed on the most gorgeous Eco friendly, Hahnemuhle Hemp. It is a remarkably beautiful option. Hahnemuhle claims that their papers have been vegan since 1965 but hemp is also eco friendly because it’s made of a plant fiber that grows rapidly and without the need of pesticides. Hemp also requires much less water than materials used in traditional papers. Because it does not use optical brighteners, this reduces the chemical footprint as well.

When you hold it in your hands, you are immediately removed from this digital world experience and reminded of old world craftsmanship. Hahnemuhle is known for their quality papers and this paper does not disappoint. The colors and black tones are rich and details come out beautifully. It has a slight texture to it so it will be appealing to watercolor painters as well. Now you have another opportunity to add an additional action to your life’s engagement with supporting the environment. And just in case you were wondering, it has no intoxicating effect, that is unless you find yourself feeling intoxicated when you see beautiful art.
